Two days in a row!

Look at me. If I make it tomorrow too, I'm on a streak! Well let's see, not much went on today in the life of Syd. We woke up early again. She's not sleeping well since Joel is away. She woke up at 3am every night that he's been gone. Bring her into our bed, and she goes back to sleep then wakes up at 6-6:30. Not quite the 7-8 I'm use to. Ah, she's just getting me ready for a new little one :)

After her first nap she woke up and kept saying, "mow mow mow". So we went out to mow the yard. Had to restring the weed eater while she was playing around in the shop. Restrung it and got her in the backpack and we started off. Got the front yard mowed the other day so we just had the backyard to do. Got the edges done and went back to get the mower. Got it started up and got the outline done just in time to run out of gas... so we waited for my dad to get home and he hooked up the backpack and used the riding mower for the rest of it with Syd on his back. She had a huge smile and kept waving to me and blowing kisses to me.

We skyped with Daddy in Spain a couple times today so she could see him and she said goodnight to him on that. 14 more days until he comes home.

Of course we had the bubble machine going again today too and then after the yard was finished we had to get the hose out and use the sprayer on Morgan. Morgan likes to bite at the water and Syd gets a kick out of it.

She had her bath and got into her jammies and then went onto Bampy's lap for some book time. She's going down for naps and bedtime pretty easy now. Oh, she started sleeping in a full size bed around the 2nd week of July. We've kept the crib in there but she doesn't bother with it at all so I don't think it'll be an issue when the new baby goes to sleep in there. She'll of course try to climb it and see the baby but I don't think there will be any sort of possession issues with it.
